Happy 3rd Birthday Charlie!

Can you believe that Charlie is 3 yrs old? Wow! What a big boy! No more binky and he's potty trained too! Yeah!!! We decided to postpone his party until the weekend because we'd just gotten back from our cruise.

I think this was his way of thanking me. (Actually he said he was looking for a marble he dropped in there.) 6-2-09Shaelynn put on Charlie's underwear (both legs through one hole) and tried to walk around like this.
Lovin' Maximus
Charlie went to his first day at the tots program down at parks and rec.
He was a little scared of Mrs. Bonnie.
Watching Spartacus
Look how big the kittens are! When we left them with Candice they were tiny babies and now they're all big!
So, um, I guess Charlie played with my camera. 6-4-09
Feeding 2 kittens at a time. 6-5-09
We had Charlie's party on Saturday. We did a swim party like last year, but this time we got a slip-n-slide too. The kids had a blast with it. 6-6-09
Charlie, the plumber
Eating Popsicles in the pool- handy, cause moms don't have to wash hands at the end!
Jarrett was too scared by all the big kids so he enjoyed his solo.
Time to open presents! He tried to read this out loud. It was seriously adorable.
Yea for "peasants!"
...and more "peasants!"
And yea fir cake! He picked out the pan and said he wanted it brown.
Mmmm
All done, Corbin.
Everybody's done...
Except Shae, the vacuum cleaner.
Not done yet!
Okay, that should about do it!
On Sunday since we were going to be in the valley we had a birthday party at Spencer's house too cause Our families couldn't come to Ajo. We were leaving to go to Havasupai and thought it would also make a great distraction so we could slip away. Spencer and Karen watched Charlie and Shaelynn.
Here's Charlie and Levi playing out back. 6-7-09
Visiting & having hot dogs
Time to sing happy birthday again. This time Walmart made it.
3 like Grandpa Parkes did it.
Shae was extra excited to eat her cake and ice cream.
"Peasants at Penso's house!"
Worn out family
Mommy hugs before we leave.
Okay, so I'm sure my kids are going to be spoiled to always get 2 birthday parties every year, but hey what do ya do?
