Reminiscing December

Looking back at December...
(and catching up my blog posts)
Willis Family taco party in Snowflake 12-5-09
We tried to take some family pictures, but no one was cooperating so we gave up. These are the best we got.
Evan & Tammy & familyAllen pigging out
Charlie and Shaelynn pretending to eat
Ben getting a plate for me - awe how sweet!
Dad shared his cake.
Fun with a balloon. (She was trying to pop it by biting it.)
While I was there at the Snowflake Social Hall I took some pictures of pictures when Ben was in a play, "The Homecoming" 1993. These are priceless!
Charlie wrote his name for the first time 12-6-09
Shae tried.
On our way back through Mesa we bought a Christmas tree. (Ben's choice) 12-7-09
Charlie and Shaelynn being cute in the bathtub
Next day (12-8-09) we put up and decorated the Christmas tree.
Charlie and Shae had a ball putting the ornaments on their fingers.
Allen got all the high ones...
...and the star.
Charlie and Quade at the TOTS Christmas party 12-11-09
And me, being so pretty!
When Santa came in Charlie had to show him his owie on his knee.
Charlie asked for "Riverdance."
He got a car and garage set and was baffled at how Santa forgot when he had just asked him.
Here's the whole class
That same night was the Border Patrol Christmas dinner and all the kids stayed at the church with a babysitter and Santa came to see them again. He asked for Riverdance again, but only got a candy cane and a bag of sweets.
Shaelynn didn't want anything to do with Santa so she stole someone's candy cane and ran off to play.
They had fun.
Allen hung out there too, but didn't sit on Santa's lap.
When we got home one evening, 12-12-09, I smelled burning plastic so we hunted down this... could've burned our house down! (That's a hole that melted right through it and burned the carpet!)
Goofy children in front of their Christmas tree
My mom made Shaelynn her first foofy, poofy Christmas dress......and this is a classic picture!
Ajo Ward Christmas Party 12-15-09
Pres. Lewis read the kids a story - they loved that!
And once again Charlie asked for Riverdance.
Shaelynn trying to get just close enough to snag that bag of goodies, but not talk to Santa.
I tried to put her on his lap and, of course, she freaked out.
Allen performed in the Ajo school band concert. He decided he wanted to trade his sax in for a trombone. 12-17-09
Shaelynn enjoys the concert with a bag of cereal.
Charlie already ate his and 1/2 of Shae's.
Good times!
