Fun times this week

This week has been pretty laid back and yet busy at the same time. (If that's possible?)

Here's a picture of Allen doing what he is always doing in his spare time - writing another book.

Here's the movie teaser - trailer... (read with the "movie guy" voice)

Six precious, magical, elemental stones are missing from

"The Gauntlet of Dreams"

worn by Magus, the evil dendroid.*

Magus, obsessed with finding the missing stones to the gauntlet,

lusts after its power to controll all the land of Alaneis.

Just when all hope is failing, a human child, named Leif,

stumbles onto the legend of the gauntlet when he overhears

an old traveling man rehersing it to a readside gypsy.

Leif soon sets out on a quest to find the lost stones;

The Ice Opal

The Emrald of Earth

The Dragonfire Ruby

The Saphire of the Sky

The Diamond of Invisibility

and

The Amythyst of Life

He will have to face ice giants,

angry dwarves, cunning dragons,

killer plants, man-eating birds

and finally the evil Magus himself.

An epic journey through mystical lands.

Battles of the mind and sword.

A search for treasures once lost.

A race for unimaginable power.

And through it all

a boy becomes a man.

*For all of you uneducated folks who don't play Heros of Might and Magic, a dendriod is a creature like an Ent.**

** For all you uneducated people who haven't read Tolkien, and Ent is a walking, talking tree-like creature who shepherds the trees.

I'm not as cute nor as imaginative as the rest, but I AM getting my hair done tomorrow! Here is the before picture.

The after picture ... coming to a blog near you next week!
